The “IACM (International Association for Computational Mechanics) Fellowships for Early Career Female Researchers” is a fellowship awarded to early-career, female researchers in computational mechanics to attend the 12th World Congress on Computational Mechanics (WCCM XII) & the 6th Asia-Pacific Congress on Computational Mechanics (APCOM VI), July 2016, in Seoul, Korea. Eight female researchers of all nationalities received this award and approximately 40 female researchers of all career stages attended the 2nd Annual Female Researchers’ Forum and the panel discussion. This forum was sponsored by Elsevier.
